SK8D8 Policies

Student Cancellation Policy

Out of respect for our hard-working team, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Refunds or class pack credit will not be made for no-shows and cancellations made within 24 hours of class. To cancel a class, please email us at info@sk8d8.com.

Refunds will not be made for cancellation of a class series within 24 hours of the first class of the series. Refunds cannot be given for individual class cancellations within a series.

Class Registration

All SK8D8 classes and workshops require advanced online registration. Students can register anytime prior to class if there is still space available, however, please note that class sizes are limited and registration will close when a class is full.

Waitlist

Our classes have a waitlist option, which will place you in line if someone cancels. This does not guarantee that you will have a place in the class unless you receive an email, text, or call from us confirming that you are now enrolled in that class.

Class Cancellations

In the case of a last-minute instructor illness or emergency, we will make every attempt to hold class with a substitute instructor. If this is not possible, students will be given a full refund or credit back to their class pack.

Waiver

All participants must complete the one-time liability waiver before skating with us. Participants under the age of 18 are required to submit a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian in person.

Class Packs

When purchasing a class pack, please be aware of the expiration date. Class packs are no longer valid past the expiration date and any unused class credits are not eligible for a refund.

SK8D8 Code of Conduct

This community is a safe and welcoming space for all and to maintain it, we have some guidelines. Please take a moment to read through this.

SK8D8 Inclusivity Statement

At SK8D8 we are working together to build a community that is safe for skaters and skaters-to-be from a broad spectrum of experiences. We welcome people of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, identities, orientations, religious & spiritual backgrounds, abilities, and conditions. We acknowledge intersectional oppression and the structures that uphold these ongoing systemic problems both within and beyond the skate community. We believe that our diversity is our strength, and continue to work on measures to make our community as safe and strong as possible.

We ask that you show respect to your fellow members at all times. We will not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, or any other type of discrimination. SK8D8 maintains the right to refuse entry to any and all individuals who do not adhere to our policies and code of conduct. Any issues should be reported right away via email to info@sk8d8.com.
