I am an Aurora, CO, native, born and raised. My “home rink” growing up was the now-closed Skate City at 6th and I-225. Roller skating has been a constant in my life since childhood, offering me a lifetime of physical and mental wellness—and now, the joy of sharing this with others through teaching.
High-energy, enthusiastic, and animated, I aim to create a fun and safe space for my students. Music moves me and the roller skates take me there.
Although I’ve skated most of my life, in 2021 I began focusing on roller dance and artistic skating. That same year, I became a Skate Coach for Skate City’s Artistic Program—the first of its kind in Colorado. While coaching, I received formal training in technique, drills, and skill development. I'm a certified coach through the SRTA and a nationally certified skate instructor through SkateIA.
In March 2024, I joined SK8D8 in Boulder, CO, where I teach roller dance and intermediate skating skills.
My background also includes a strong foundation in dance. I majored in Dance at Metropolitan State College and taught the recreational Intro to Hip Hop course for two years. I've had the privilege of training with phenomenal dancers like Deandre Carrol (Funknetic Project / Cleo Parker Robinson) and Chase Evered (School of Breaking). While Hip Hop has always been my core style, I have experience and appreciation for many forms of dance.
Combining my lifelong passions for roller skating and dance, I now specialize in Dance Skate. I bring dedication, knowledge, and expertise to my teaching, aiming to inspire the next generation of skaters. I love to witness those "Eureka!" moments—when a move clicks, when confidence builds. Knowing I played a part in that journey is incredibly rewarding. Teaching keeps me healthy and fit—in Mind, Body, and Spirit. I’m humbled and honored to be able to pass on the knowledge and joy that is Dance Roller Skating.
