Can you confidently skate forward, backward, and do front crossovers?
Are you ready to move beyond footwork and use your whole body to develop your dance skate style?
If so, this workshop is for you!
In this intermediate workshop, you’ll learn to…
Listen with your body and develop your own skate dance style
Apply freestyle dance concepts such as Metranomic Knees, Beat Switching, and Sympathetic Tension
Learn footwork that integrates well with freestyle dance
The objective of this workshop is to kick-start and develop your own skate dance style!
WORKSHOP DETAILS
This workshop is appropriate for intermediate to advanced skaters.
All participants must complete the one-time liability waiver before your first time skating with us.
Please arrive a few minutes early so you can gear up and be ready to roll!
PLEASE READ!
Online pre-registration is required.
This workshop is limited to 8 students. Online registration will remain open until the class start time if space is available.
A minimum of FOUR STUDENTS is required to hold this workshop. It will be cancelled TWO hours prior to the start time if the minimum is not met, and existing registrants will be notified.
Please sign up early to minimize the possibility of a cancelled class!
Class Packs cannot be used towards monthly workshops.
